I will sometimes go long periods of time without receiving any email on my Droid. When it first happened, I checked on my laptop and I had indeed gotten emails and they hadn't shown up on my Droid. I called Verizon and they suggested I pull the battery and put it back in and restart the Droid. It worked. But now I have to "reboot" the Droid several times a day to get my email updated. It still downloads email sometimes without the reboot, but more than half the time I have to do the reboot and then my email shows up. Is there some kind of setting I can change to get this to work correctly? It doesn't seem to matter whether or not I'm on Wi-Fi or 3G.
