I don't have THAT problem... are you in a weak service area? For example - although I get 2 bars at my house it is a reflected signal and I cannot complete a call, my screen goes to white and I have to close and reopen the clamshell to get the phone back to working order

i have a problem where the phone will sort of "die". What i mean by this is that on the main menu, i cannot get to any options, and hitting the button just highlights the icon choices. only i've found to fix this is to remove the battery (which, for a man with no nails is often a challenge) and then placing the battery back in, and then restarting the phone.

is this the problem you meant?

remember folks that your phones do use a software and just like computers they need to be re-booted, so turbing your handsets off and on every other day or daily might do the trick....
