Sorry if this is buried somewhere but search has been unsuccessful.

I have an excel file (which can be saved to csv) in format name, number, type (e.g., work, home, mobile).

Tried text file import using MPT but get totally hung on the mapping to Outlook (which is where I eventually get when following directions).

Am excel and Access savvy so would be able to format the data but can't figure out how to transform the raw data so I can import it into MPT. (I'm trying to move numbers from an old i95cl to Razr). The raw format does not map to Outlook contact format. In fact, the raw input actually maps pretty well to the razr format

Has anyone done this? or have some ideas? Not trying to do anything fancy, just want to get the numbers onto the Razr...

What befuddles me is that the raw data is in same format as Razr phonebook so why can't I do a straight import/export???

Access savvy - yeah - I mean MS Access - I'm a database designer by trade so am pretty familiar with it. I use it to prototype 'big' designs I'm working on - make sure the SQL works, that kind of thing. And basically, if it has to do with data, I make a database out of it - I'm a bit geeky that way.

I followed a link from this forum (can't find it now) that pointed me to a page that had 10 or so "p2k" type downloads - but I couldn't figure out which one I needed to do basics (I'm currently bouncing back and forth between MPT and DataPilot). Can you supply link to the exact one you're talking about???

    thanks

DOH! Just answered my own question - I'm going to assume you all mean P2KManager when you say P2KMan - wow, I'm a genius!! Found it on motomodders.net

    I'll check it out.
