Hi Everyone,
I've been using my Samsung S4 for a few months. Yesterday, there was a notification telling me to update the latest version of software on the phone. After updating, my phone cannot recognise Thai language for some reason. When I type in anything in Thai, it appears as little squares instead of proper Thai sentences. I can't read anything on facebook, messages, etc. when my friends write in Thai, it appears as little squares as well. Please help me.

Re: Samsung S4 doesn't recognise Thai language
Yes I did update the system. It worked so well before. After updating, my phone keeps playing up about Thai language. Its very upsetting now cause I can't read or write anything in Thai.

OMG!! So did I. The system update sucked! I tried reboot to original setting twice it did not work either.
I bought online so I cannot call Samsung Center in Japan (where I live now) nor the one in HK (where the phone was sent) helps. Did you buy it with Samsung store in your country? You should have them checked.

Re: Samsung S4 doesn't recognise Thai language
I bought it off the internet. My phone was sent from HK as well. But I rang the Samsung shop in Australia and they could check it for me. Maybe you should ring the shop in Japan. They might be able to help you. You might have to pay for the service but I believe that there might be a solution naka.

You can download an app name iFont from Play store. It lets you change fonts for your phone. you can chose any other font that support Thai language as well. )
