Is there a s105 firmware that lets you get rid of the stupid time and date?

yeah, you're gonna have to flash or upgrade your phone to the s100 or the euro spec

that seems like a lot of work just to get rid of the date, it's anooying to see it there though, I think I know how you feel shingo.

not much work at all. in a nutshell, here it goes:
1. save firmware to computer
2. flash new firmware to phone
3. reset phone
done!
of course...read the instructions, get a data cable and set aside about 30 minutes for this procedure. there's more to the firmware than just removing the time/date. the only thing that you will miss is the phonebook shortcut.

i didn't miss my phonebook shortcut when i flashed mine to s100. it's just one extra keystroke....

me too. most of the time i use my speed dial anyways so the extra key to press doesn't affect me much at all. small price to pay for so much more. don't you think?i didn't miss my phonebook shortcut when i flashed mine to s100. it's just one extra keystroke....
