Are there any hidden issues with running Opera Mini on the cell?
I know they are a respected browser that has been around for a while.
But, with free stuff, I always look for the 'got u'.

Someone has to provide a server.
The server pre-processes pages, and renders them to your cell phone in a
proper/reduced format.
For Opera Mini, that service is currently funded by some cell phone
companies in Norway 9I think... it's on the web pages. At some point, they
could decide that they need some money for the servers. It was originally
only offered to their customers, but then made available worldwide.
Any pages that you view, cookies, bookmarks, passwords that you type, go
through their servers, which might be subject to attack or subpoena.
I don't do anything there that requires a password except NY Times
which requires a registration for viewing. I should have created a
different NY Times account, but I didn't bother at the time, and now it's
too late ;-)
It is a very useful viewer, and I wouldn't mind paying a subscription fee
to the servers. I looked for some "donation" page, and I didn't find
anything that fit what I wanted to say, although I could have purchased
some trinket.
