As I explained, what you said was incorrect, much like many of your other
posts here. Do yourself a favor -- bookmark and carefully read "Overview of
the Global System for Mobile Communications" by John Scourias, University of
    Waterloo <http://ccnga.uwaterloo.ca/~jscouria/GSM/gsmreport.html>. And try
    acting like an adult.

    Re: Unable to tether-Anything change?

I've tried it today and still can't get it to work. I thought maybe
it was my stand alone pocket pc, that something got changed in the
settings, but it's not working on my laptop either. I also rebooted
the pda, laptop, as well as phone with no luck.
I did change the sim card to another phone since my phone went bad a
couple weeks ago and it happened about that time. I thought it may be
that but as said the data should go with the sim card.
Also, I noticed this problem about a week ago while on a business trip
to Albuquerque, NM and thought it was a problem in that area but I'm
now back home in Denver, CO with the same problems so I'm not sure if
    there's a outage problem either.
If I do have to change, would the $44.95 pda plan work or do I have to
go to the $59 data connect plan?
As well, I know Cingular is rolling out high speed internet. What
does the unlimited plan cost for that?

Yes, there have been times my tethering didn't work but as well it
didn't work on my handset so it seemed to be an outage but this time
it does work on my handset.

    What exactly is the problem?

The phone configuration matters! And it might not be correct. Or you might
be dialing the wrong profile. See the companion document to the FAQ (link
    below) on configuring MEdia Net.
