My T68i failed and was sent off for repair. Because they were unable
to fix the problem they sent me a brand new one. It works fine, but
for some reason the display does not appear to be as bright as the old
one. I've checked the display settings and everything looks ok, but
its definitely a lot duller than the old one.
Is there anything I can do to increase the brightness? Perhaps a
fireware update or something?
TIA,
Colin

Yes I did, it didn't really do much.

The t300 (very similar) varies from one unit to the next. A friend and I
had 3 units together (two active, one replacement), and they all looked
slightly different in brightness and color.

In which case I wont worry about it. By the way I meant firmware, not fireware!

Otherwise, your phone would have been much brighter ;-)
