Sorry if this is a really stupid question - I am about to get a V500 and
have been looking at bluetooth headsets. Some of them say they are
compatible with all phones with "Headset Profile". Can someone explain
this and is the v500 compatible? Thanks

As I understand it, the Bluetooth specifications contain definitions of how
different classes of device will communicate. The Headset profile is a
definition of how Bluetooth headsets communicate with headset profile
enabled devices. Sometimes phones, sometimes dongles that you can attach to
PCs. There are 13 that made it into the 1.1 specification and you can get
more @ http://www.swedetrack.com/usblue4.htm and many others available at
your local google!
Yes, the v500 supports the Headset profile.
Jeremy.
