V500 sms counter

I saw a post, forgotten where, in which someone said the V500/525/600
will count your SMSs for you, and even list where you had sent them. How
do you access this feature, cos I can't find it by rooting around the menus

In the message centre, it will list how many messages you have sent or
recieved, just go into each of those sectiosn to see who you have sent them
too...

in outbox select the message press MENU and sselect status: gives you the
nexessary info.

Yes, but what happens if you run out of memory before the end of the
month? I get 100 free SMS on my contract, but I'm pretty sure I couldn't
keep all 100 in my outbox until the end of my billing period. Is there
any way to count sms other than by looking in your outbox?

Not that I now of, but you have about 5Mb of memory on a v500!! 100 texts
is barely going to even make much of a dent in that!!! You could reduce tha
putting software or storing lots of pictures etc, but as long as you don't
go mad you should have no trouble storing a couple of hundred texts on
there...
