I'm having some trouble with my new v600 connecting to an iPaq 4150
and my laptop using an IBM Bluetooth PC Card adapter. I'm able to
transfer files but can't get the dialup networking to work. Thus, the
mobile phone tools software (v2.16) doesn't work either. Has anyone
else been able to get Bluetooth working for data services?
I was able to get GPRS (dialup services) working with the HP tablet
1100 (Centrino chipset) but I would really like to get the iPaq 4150
to connect via bluetooth and use the GPRS features. Does anyone have
any setup tips/tricks/gotchas they could share or am I out of luck?
Thanks

I thought that Version 2.2 was required for V500, 525 and 600.

I ran the live update to 2.20 and still have the same issue with the
mobile phone tools. The mobile phone tools is actually a secondary
issue for me. I really need the v600 to accept a dialup connection via
bluetooth from the iPAQ.

Sounds like you already have a GPRS connection from your phone - from what
you said above.
1) Are the phone and ipaq paired?
2) Does the ipaq have the phone set a the dialup modem?
3) I used Vodafone connectme for ppc to make the connection - I assume
you're US based - but the dial string I use is *99***1# which IIRC dials
the first GPRS profile on my v525 - which should be close enough to the
v600.
Does that help?
Jeremy.
