Actually I have the same issue.

When I walk away from my PC and get out of Bluetooth range...it won't reconnect when I come back in range unless I turn the phone off and back on.

Any ideas, or is this even possible to make it reconnect automatically?

I haven't found any settings in the PhoneTools software as far as auto reconnect, etc, and everything works fine with my Bluetooth connection.
