SLVR L7 Stopping the on/off music sound

Anybody know how to stop the music that plays upon phone power-on and
power-off? Is that part of the skin? Tks, -Harry

Well sadly I'm not a SW jock and hesitate to mess with the SEEM. Maybe
I should rephrase the question:

Anybody know AN EASY WAY to stop the music that plays upon phone
power-on and
power-off?

Is that part of the skin?

Unfortunately, the SEEM edit is the only way to do it. However, you
don't need to be a SW jock (I'm certainly not!) to do it. Motokit makes
SEEM edits easy. To do what you want only two SEEM edits are needed:

SEEM 004a_0001; offset 22; set value to 01
SEEM 0032_0001; offset 24; bit 3 = 0 (off)

Always back up SEEMS before modding. Always restart phone to activate
changes.
