My girlfriend got a V325 from verizon, so I got a data cable and MPT.

When hooking the phone to the pc, it detects the phone, and I can sync and backup the contacts,
the calendar, and use the text message and internet connection. And I can dial out from the pc thru
the phone..

I assume that means that mpt is detecting the phone correctly.

However, when selecting "multimedia studio", it says "this function is unavailable because
another function or data connection is open, or the phone is still initializing". It displays that
whether the phone is freshly powered up or been on a while, even disconnecting and reconnecting the
data cable.

Is this a verizon lock?
