Are $20 add-a-phone plans eligible for the 18 month upgrade rebate? The
underlying plan exceeds the $34.99 requirement. The web site indicates
I am eligible but it would not surprise me if when submitted, it was
rejected. CSR reps have given me different answers. Anyone have any
experience with this little nuance? Thanks.

Yes, you can get the rebate on the $20 add a phone.
I have done this with 3 of the 4 phones we have on our account.

Once you've had the same phone, with the same phone number for 18 months,
you are eligible. It looks like you've seen the qualifications via
http://pcshandsetupgrade.sprint.com/ .
Keep in mind that when you do one of these, you are also agreeing to a new
two year commitment.
