Talk about a lame attempt to stiffle a discussion.
Found in an Earthlink discussion.

What kind of policy would you like?
Would you like to force people to post news using only the Earthlink
address that they're logged in to the news server with?
I would object strongly to a policy like that. I don't go changing
my address all over the place, but I also don't want my real address
in the header of all my newsgroup postings, where spammers can
harvest them.
And if you allow someone to post with a different address, then there
is no possible way to prevent them from making new ones.
Furthermore, such a policy wouldn't stop anything. He could just as
easily post from Google, or a corporate news server, or a commercial
news server. Heck, he could even run his own (it's not that big a
deal if you don't carry a lot of groups.) EL can only control what
goes through their servers. They can't do thing one against what
others do from other servers.

Now I'm waiting for Smit to claim David is Phillipe.
P.S. There were 4 other posts telling smit to go away.

<snipped>
The irony of your post Phillippe is that you changed your ID once
again, just after I posted that message ... What is this ... your
SIXTH different ID here in this newsgroup, within the past 3 weeks?

Re: Bob Smith trying to stiffle Phillipe
Although some of these discussions have gone off the deep end, please
have at least the common courtesy to title the post "Trying to stiffle
me". You and the subject of the post are one in the same so please
quit trying to incite arguments.

That doesn't begin to compare to the number of posts telling you to go
away Phillipe. I think it is a logical question... why do you change
your screen name so much in here -- are you just trying to force people
who have you killfiled to read your posts?

If your biggest problem in life is that Phillipe changed
his alias for posting, you are indeed a fortunate person.
An older gentleman once told me, "You can judge a man by the size of a problem
he worries about".

Bull**** you don't go changing your address all over the place. Your name
has changed from:
Phillipe
Richard (a bogus trolling boost)
P. Reality
P. <a couple of others>
Phill.
And your email address has been the following that I have seen so far:
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
And these are just the ones I am aware of. Face it Phillipe, you are a
loser with nothing better to do than to make the rest of us misserable ...
and this thread is indeed a troll (where is the Sprint content anyway?), one
which I am obviously taking the bait for.

The effort to which Phillipe goes to evade filters seems to know no bounds.
Yet, he was the poster with the largest hitlist before he became a victim of
it himself.

Now using bad language is more likely a violation of any ISP's TOS.
Now care to talk about whether Sprint can stay in business instead of going off
topic onto personalities?

No, it is not. Go ahead and try though. [email protected] or [email protected]
might get you satisfaction.

So, you ignored the Phillipe dodge? He still has not explained the repeated
changing of identity to avoid filters. If he didn't avoid filters life
would be much less difficult and this thread would not have even occurred.
