    I found a brand new still in the box LG phone, AT&T branded, beside the road today. There is no sim card, but the phone is brand new.

    Can I use this phone? I have no idea who lost it, could I take the IMEI or S/N and find out who lost it?

    If u have Att service u should be able to use this phone just pop in ur sims card. however it would be the responsible thing to call att customer service and advise them of the situation.

    agreed, I think letting them know would be the right thing to do, besides lg GSM phones are horrid.

    I agree that the "older" LG GSM handsets were not that good. However, having owned a few of the "newer" LG GSM handsets, I can speak from experience when I say that they have greatly improved, and I would at least recommend that AT&T customers try the Mid range LG's, and decide for themselves whether or not an LG handset is right for them.
    let me add then,

    IMO, LG gsm phones are horrid, as well as Samsung. I still have friends within at&t and they usually give me the scoop on what phones are being returned and which ones customer's love. LG has gotten better I'll admit, but I'm still not convinced.

    I agree with you though Ellen, it's up to each person to form their own opinion, take mine for what it's worth.
