Anyone else have no Vodafone service in the Yarra Valley in Victoria?
I've been without service since late last night. I've checked another
Vodafone just in case it was my handset and it has no service either.
The views I present are that of my own and NOT of any organisation I
may belong to.

No, 'vodaphone' does not exist. But the Vodafone Network was back on
air in the Healesville area by about 0900 from what I have been told,
I was asleep by then!
The nearest cell is located at Briarty's Hill between Healesville /
Woori Yallock / Coldstream. There are many other services at the site
which were still working during that time, including the 2 Metre
Amateur Repeater VK3RYV on 146.725 MHz.
The outage would have been very late in the evening.

Being English speaking, phone is *****ed with a 'ph', not 'f'!
If they cant get that right, how do you expect them to get anything more
complicated right?

The point is that it is a company name, which does not have to be an
English word. So the company is called Vodafone.

Vodafone are undergoing a fiscal squeeze.
To enhance the customer experience, Vodafone will be switching off the cell
sites b/w 12 am and 6 am, every night.
The electricity costs saved, will be passed onto the customer, with brand
new, innovative plans

"phone" is not a word, just like "fone" is not a word as well.
"Vodafone" is a collection of letters which form a valid company name.
"Xnvmfhjg Pty Ltd" is also a collection of letters which form a valid
company name

Wrong, as always.
