goldfish??

when a goldfish dies isnt it suppose to float on top of the tank.. mine died the other day and it sunk @ the bottom of the tank...

poor fishy ... I believe that if their little lungs fill up with water then they will sink down to the bottom

I had two goldfish that lived in a tank until they were about ten years old, I had to seperate them when one of them started to munch on the other ones fins and tail - I called him Jaws!

hehe jaws!!

grrr now i gotta replace him....

Make sure you keep the tank clean and dont feed them too much!
... do you have a filter to keep the air in the water?

nopey its a tiny fish bowl! well its not tiny but its not large

....maybe get a little underwater snail from the fish shop to help clean the side of the tank... and some water weedy stuff but not too much of that or it makes the water dirty (but they sure like to eat it!)

Btw whats the longest anyone has had a fish live! my aunt had a fish live for 15 years!!!! and it had a lil dot on its head so she couldnt of been trickin us!..i tink! lol

One of my fish got some spine ting and he looked like the McDonals arches! Seriously! So in the fish place i was told to put some salt in the water it mite help and it did! He was as good as new but then he died a day later!

Ah well!

One of my more classic fish moments was when i went into to get a new fish and i was gonna get this fish cant remember what the name was but just before i left the shop i was asked do i want to put an order on a new tank, so i asked y and he said that the fish will grow to 6ft long!!! Lucky he told me! You can just imagine waking up one mornin and seeing it eating the cat or something!! lol

Ohhh my friend had a fish called an 'Oscar'

It ate meat!!! It was big and scarry and you would get a bit of steak out of the fridge and it would come up and put its head out of the tank and grab it out of your fingers
...it started off small and grew and grew and grew!!!

10 years was the oldest fish I ever had - I got it from a friend to look after and then the tank broke in the night and I heard all this water and went and saved the two of them (Jaws and Magic Carp was what I named them)
Got a new tank and they were fine
Jaws died first and little Magic Carp kicked on for another year (and grew his fins back cos Jaws kept munching on him)

lol, its weird the way fish eat each other! My uncle had 2 fish once and there was a black one and a gold one and the black one ate the gold one,so he got a new one and the black one just ate that 2!!

But some people are just heartless!! one of my friends had a fish for 7 years and he was gettin sick of havin to take care of it so he trew it off the wall to kill it!!, I lost a lot of respect for him after that!

erm think mine was a year coz it died grrrrrrrrrrrrrr
