I'd have to go with 2002
senior year in high school, prom, graduation, the last summer together, starting college, all that
it didn't get off to the greatest start though. I was at the club and during the $2002 money drop at midnight some lit cigarette ash fell onto my hair from the 2nd level. it felt like my scalp was being stabbed with a million pieces of glass. I was usin the ice from the free champagne glasses to cool of my head. I did end up grabbing 2 bucks . $2 for '02

mine has to be the mid to late '70's. They were my last years of freedom and being a youth (I went/was forced into the Armed forces during this time).
Life was simple, it was free, you actually paid a fair price for the product's you needed/desired.
Don't get me wrong, the next five plus years opened my eye's to things that most people will never see nor imagine, but I was still naive to the world, and my little world was all I lived or cared about.
My God were things so easy and straight forward then. I swear, there are more country songs about my life that I care to admit too.

I'd agree with ya there Boss, Even watching films and documentarys from that time, life seemed so easy going, everyone knew everyone, Nie and peaceful!
Even though im just turning 18 next week, It makes me feel so old saying i was born in the 1980's!
But this year is shaping up for second place! Turning 18 and all!
And finally finished shcool! Off to College!
Wont beat 2003 though!
What made the year so great was,It was TY in school, wich is like a year ya do nothing and go out and work, and get paid! And me and a few friends went off on holidays for a week, (Met someone special there, If ya know what i mean! )
And we went last year again, just wasnt the same, But were all heading again this year! (Same place as 2003) so it should shape up as a good one!

1982... literally thefirst full year of my life. what more could I ask for- free food, free room and board, free changings, lots of attention, lots of presents, no worries. man, those were the days even though I cant remember even a second of it. well, i guess the next time i'll experience such fun would be during my next birth

Not that I entirely remember it per-say... But I do know that never will it be that easy ever again!!Last edited by Twin; 04-11-2005 at 09:07 AM.
