I have been reading articles lately which link ceratin car manufacturers, mainly Toyota and Hyundai, to supporting terrorist activitey. Now I know that they are not giving money to Al Queda, but they do trade with terrorist-abiding nations and at the same time have plants on US soil. Don't you think it is our responsibility to get the message out to these companies that they should not be trading with these countries while building on our soil??? Thoughts???? Here is one of the articles I read.

    Punctured Tire

The ad submitted to the Detroit News was not exactly subtle.

Toyota and Hyundai operate "in countries that sponsor terrorism," it said, while General Motors does not.

Jim Doyle of the Level Field Institute, funded by retirees and suppliers of the Big Three automakers, says the News questioned the assertion, which he explained was based on State Department findings about Sudan and Iran. Then a News advertising executive told him the ad was being rejected because her bosses had decided it was "inflammatory to our advertisers." Says Doyle: "I didn't expect to get censored in Detroit."

The same ad, by the way, has run in Roll Call and been accepted by The Washington Post for this week.

So was the News protecting its automobile advertisers? Henry Ford, the paper's vice president for marketing, says he has "no comment other than it was a simple business decision."

All I am saying is that if we are going to let these guys make money on plants built in the Unitied States, money that certainly does not go to americans, we should stand up and tell them not to trade with nations which may support our enemies.

I am glad that you are sticking to American Muscle. It is important that we remind these companies like Toyota angd Hyundai that we are doing are part to make sure $$ spent in America is staying here.
