is it just me or is macintosh almost a cult

It's simple.

I bough mac 'couse I was in the print/graphic design business. It was more than 10 years ago and mac was better for DTP (desktop publishing) than any other platform at the time.

Did you know that windows were (at the beginning) only a poor copy of mac operating system?... no?

hehe... now you know...

for me it is not a hype or a cult, but a bad addiction... hahahaha


ps... I work on the windows platform too

it's not a cult -- i just love the OS. I'm not one of those guys who screams from the mountaintops about how PCs suck.

Plus, they look cool -- could go into more details but...

It's kinda like...yeah you can buy a Dell for $500 and it'll likely do what you wanna do...but if you can, why not get a Mac?

Kinda like ocmparing a Civic with a Ferrari.
