Re: What's in a Name?
Kind of a long story...
My mom is English. I got a dog when I was 16, and we named the dog Sam. Well, with my 16 year old sense of humor, we started coming up with things that sounded like Sam that would get a response from the dog. She responded to a lot of things, including Bill From Hell and Spam. We liked Spam, so my brother, my best friend, and I all started calling the dog Spam. After a couple of days, my mom heard us call the dog Spam and said (in her accent), "You cant name the dog Spum!" ...and the dog went running to her. I guess it's my dog's nickname, but I've used it for everything online since then because it's never taken and I don't have to put 90,000 numbers at the end of my name.

Re: What's in a Name?
Great post Spum, that's awesome! Makes me think of Monty Python.
Mark's post is great too!!
Speaking of dog's, Dude is my dog's name, and he was born February 2nd of 2002 = 222. Hmmm, too bad he wasn't born June 6th of this year...
I kind of thought this thread would be lame, in other words, no one would respond to it. But I woke up after a really long night, and didn't want to get right into the heavy duty technical stuff, so that just popped into my head.

Re: What's in a Name?
My last name is Seabourn and one of my favorite movies is Bourne Identity. So I took off the "e" and came up with Bourn Identity! You won't believe how many times my teachers in school mi*****ed my name with an "e" on the end, lol!
