Hi everybody, I came across this forum as I was searching for a new phone.

I looked through all the boards, and I'm not sure where to ask for suggestions about getting a new phone, so I decided to post it here, and feel free to move it to whereever appropriate.

Ok, so, I'm in need of a new cellphone since my old one is a Nokia 3650 (the brick with circular dial pad).

I am pretty clueless when it comes to cellphones, so I guess it would be best if you could just ask me questions, and then I'll answer.

Here are some basic ideas tho:

-Around $250 (preferebally lower than $250, obviously not retail price, as I don't mind buying from eBay)
-Has to support T-Mobile ToGo (pre-paid) (as I still have around $100 in there)

Now, I cannot stand phones that have rounded corners, or the ones that have a rounded overall look. In contrast, I love the Sony Ericsson style a lot, and the Panasonic VS series as well for flip phones. I dont want something everybody and their grandmas have *cough* RAZR *cough*

I don't really care if it's flip, slide, or just regular (candybar?) phone, as long as it looks cool (man-ish cool), and has features such as loudspeaker, expandable memory (or built in large memory), camera, and maybe bluetooth.

So please, would u kindly suggest few choices, and maybe I'll have my new cell in a week!

    Thanks!

Welcome to CPF! Well, one of your options are to check out phone scoops's phone finder (Phone Finder - search database of cell phone specs & features (Phone Scoop)) and see what you come up with. As for a phone sugestion... hmm... if you're looking for a somewhat newer phone, id go with the Samsung SGH-E730. Wonderful phone (wish I would have bought one myself!). This phone's edges are somewhat rounded, if you want a square(er) looking phone, put the E720 on for size. Basically the same features, a small amount of differences between the two.
