I try to use hashcat (V5.1.0) on AWS (p2.xlarge)

    it complains
    * Device #1: This hardware has outdated CUDA compute capability (3.7).
For modern OpenCL performance, upgrade to hardware that supports
CUDA compute capability version 5.0 (Maxwell) or higher.

but using hashcat -I I have
    Platform ID #1
    Vendor : NVIDIA Corporation
    Name : NVIDIA CUDA
    Version : OpenCL 1.2 CUDA 10.0.292 <---------------- not 3.7 :-(

    Device ID #1
    Type : GPU
    Vendor ID : 32
    Vendor : NVIDIA Corporation
    Name : Tesla K80
    Version : OpenCL 1.2 CUDA
    Processor(s) : 13
    Clock : 823
    Memory : 2860/11441 MB allocatable
    OpenCL Version : OpenCL C 1.2
    Driver Version : 410.104

I have the same error message right now. What did you do to fix it?

    Re: Aws gpu

The error message suggests that your GPU (Tesla K80) has a CUDA compute capability below what is required for modern OpenCL performance.
Updating your hashcat software to a version that is compatible with your GPU's CUDA compute capability could resolve this issue. Alternatively, you might consider using a different AWS GPU instance type that supports a higher CUDA compute capability.
For more detailed assistance, I recommend seeking help from the hashcat community or consulting their documentation for specific compatibility requirements. Also, exploring how ERP can be integrated into AWS cloud services might be beneficial for your business needs. Here's a helpful source on this topic - acupower.co.uk.
