    I could tell somewhat of a difference in certain areas but that could be because of new towers.

    Of course, if your in a rural area you might not notice as much of a difference as much if you were in an urban area. Tower Density is the main factor for reception.
    If your in a low lying area your prone for less signal.
    Many things contribute to signal strength.
