Coverage Area for the PC Cards

I just recently bought the Sony Ericsson GC83 pc card for my husband, who is stationed at Ft Gordon GA. Does anyone know for sure if this pc card will get him coverage there? Is this a good card to have? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

I think all of cingular-branded data cards are just using a SIM card through traditional GSM, correct? If it is then the PC card will work anywhere that a Cingular Cell phone would (well... there's some frequency issues... but for the most part it would work).
