For the last 2 weeks, my venerable (unlocked) BB7230 has stopped working in New York City (but works fine in NH, MA, DC). Get no signal.

Talked to Cingular tech support, who couldnt figure it out except for suspecting that they may have dropped GSM1900 there, and the only solution is to buy a quad-band model.

Anyone else noticed this? Annoying if that's the case.
