    Anyone know anything about video capture cards? I need to use DV and analog inputs (from VHS and DV-CAM respectively) and not sure what to get!

    DV should capture with any ieee. 1394 (firewire) card which you can buy for cheap at CompUSA or a store like that. For analog you might want to buy the Adaptec VideOh DVD. It captures S-video and RCA Composite.

    some new mother board have the 1394 firewyre on the back of the pc, without extra pci card
