I have a Binatone landline telephone uinit and use one of its remote handsets at my computer station. When I lean forward to read the screen better, while holding the handset to my ear, the connection is cut dead. Does anyone have an idea what is causing this and how it can be prevented.

    Many thanks...

so - this isn't related to a cell phone, right? Sounds like something from the computer screen is interfering with the signal. Is it a CRT monitor?

    Hi John,

No, my screen is a Belinea LCD. It's a curious and infuriating problem. The phone is not a cell-phone but a remote tuned in to a landline stationary charger-unit.

    Thanks.
