Down below in "I will never buy another phone from Motorola" I posted
about the T730. Well it's come back from Radio Shack and Motorola and
appears to be in working order. There was no charge also. I thought for sure
that they would claim the phone had been dropped. Boy, do I feel stupid. <g>

Well it was good of you to tell the rest of the news group that Motorola
customer service, whilst perhaps not quite as good as when mobile phones
cost $$$$, is still generally a hell of a sight better than anyone else.

Yep, used to be Qualcomm. Should have stuck with it. Mine is 2 years old and
haven't had any trouble at all. Nothing.
Daughter's old phone was a Kyocera 2235 that even went swimming in the
toilet once and worked for 2 months AFTER that before it gave up the ghost.
Radio Shack won't do anything. Can't blame them at all. Not their
phone, not their plan. Motorola FIXED it the last time.
Good friggin job! Verizon is the only one who seems to be taking any kind of
responsibility. They said to bring it to a Verizon Store, not an authorized
dealer, and they'll probably give her a new phone.
The Kyocera's weren't fancy but boy were they utilitarian.

Check Ebay. They should have plenty for reasonable prices. Get one with low
minutes used and you won't regret it. The keypad and screen are nicely
backlit with a bright blue that makes it easy to see it at night.
