what someone taught you about the condensation process in the 6th grade?

Pat is correct. The object's temp would need to be _lower_ the temp of the
surround air containing the moisture. It should be obvious that what you
state is incorrect. To put it into your 6th grade thought process... have
you ever seen a cooling cup of coffee attract condensation? Nope. Try a
google.com search on the subject of condensation to confirm for yourself.
