    Sorry for a duplicate message, but the other header was misleading.

    I'm having terrible reception in the LA area with this new, beautiful phone.
    I did better with a clunky Siemens that I didn't much like but that had a
    protruding antenna. Is there anything to do to improve reception. I see lots
    of ads for various devices. Thanks.

    well, okies....but the main point (after ive tested out all the networks in
    malaysia [900s and 1800s]) is i believe that 900 nets have much better
    signal strength

    OK, but I'm new at this. Do I have a choice about using a 900MHz network.
    What on the phone would I adjust?
