LG UX380 File Transfer Issues

I just got a new LG UX380 and I am having problems getting wallpaper from my macbook to my phone. It keeps saying that the file type is not valid or recognized or incorrect. Anyone have any idea how file transfers work?

The process I tried was through my mac, I clicked the bluetooth icon/send file/clicked my phone/chose my file/send

It won't work. Any help would be great....Thanks!

What type of file, what format, what size?

I've tried sending wallpaper files. JPEG was what i tried first. Then I tried every other file extension i could for pictures and still nothing. I then tried to send a song and still nothing. Not sure what the deal is, but my wife has the same phone and it won't work on hers either.

The size is 176x220. Thats the wallpaper size it says it should be. No clues.

Format your card and...
Try the set up in this UG page 62. (5. PC Connection)
I would put wallpaper in the OTHER_IMAGE - Image >Downloaded folder
Bluetooth is not so great for file transfer, USB data is better and faster.

OK, did all that, yet it still says "File type not accepted" I tried with both JPEG files and MP3 files. Whats the point of f'ing bluetooth when it doesn't work!

i don't think that the 380 has obx so you want be able to transfer by bluetooth.

Hands free

Hey thanks everyone for the input. I called LG and jerry hit it right on the head. It only supports contact info via bluetooth. Which to me is ridiculous and pointless. I ordered the usb cable so I can put songs on it and what not.
