intel or amd
amd has power when u need it but sits on a low speed when no pressure is on it but has the balls to speed up when needed

it think, it's depend on your money and your needs.
if you have enough money, then why not you buy intel.Everything is just sooo weird..

Basically both come to the same conclusion that AMD is best for games and Intel for video etc.

go on Pricewatch.com and look for an Athlon XP processor. I have the XP 3000+ @ 400 mhz FSB, and its down to about $200. I do alot of gaming, but even on the PCMark04 I do exteremly well on the benchmarks.

AMD has great performace and will cost you less, even though AMD isn't strong on memory bandwith.

AMD is fine, not necessarily better than Intel. but I do agree AMD is better than Intel in gaming wise.

if you don't want a computer that costs you much, AMD suits you
but if you want a better performance in video editing, i suggest you to use Intel (800Mhz,HT and Dual DDR)

The only AMD I would get is the Athlon 64.
