Sync iPhone Contacts using iTunes:

NOTE: Using iTunes on a computer with an active Internet connection, you can sync your iPhone contacts with your Google account. You can then sync the account data, including contacts, with the LG Harmony.

  1. Open iTunes on the computer
  2. Connect the iPhone to your computer via USB
  3. Click the iPhone in iTunes and go to “Info”
  4. Enable “Sync Contacts With”
  5. From the drop-down menu, select “Google Contacts”
  6. Sign in with your Google account or click “Configure” and select an existing account
  7. Click “Apply” to start the sync
  8. Once the sync is done, switch to the LG device and sign in with the same Google account used in iTunes
  9. Allow the account to sync contacts with your LG device

Share iPhone Contacts via iCloud:

NOTE: If the contacts on your iPhone are already backed up on your iCloud account, you can sign in to your account on a computer connected to the Internet, and export the contacts in a vCard file for Android use.

  1. Open the Internet browser on the computer
  2. Head down to https://www.icloud.com/ and sign in with your iCloud account
  3. Go to “Contacts” and select the desired contacts
  4. Click “Settings” > “Export vCard”
  5. Once the vCard has been downloaded, follow one of these steps:
    • Launch the Internet browser on the computer and import the vCard to Google Contacts, or:
    • Connect the LG Harmony to your computer via USB, transfer the vCard to the phone storage and import it to your phonebook via “Contacts”

Using “My Contacts Backup”:

NOTE: Although the two methods above require a computer connected to the Internet, alternatively you can transfer your iPhone contacts using third party apps. My Contacts Backup is an iOS app that can back up and share iPhone contacts via email.

  1. Open the App Store and install “My contacts Backup” on the iPhone
  2. Open the app and tap “Backup” to create a vCard backup file of your iPhone contacts
  3. Tap “Email”
  4. Make sure the vCard is attached to the email and send it to your own address
  5. Switch to the LG Harmony and open the email
  6. Download the vCard attachment and import the vCard to your phonebook using “Contacts”

Using “Send Anywhere”:

NOTE: Send Anywhere is another third party app you can use for contact transfer. The app uses a peer-2-peer connection to share contacts and other types of files cross-platform without requiring access to a computer.

  1. Visit the Google Play Store and install “Send Anywhere” on the LG device
  2. Install the same app on the iPhone from the App Store
  3. Launch the app on both devices
  4. On the iPhone, tap “Send” > “Contacts”
  5. Select the desired contacts and tap “Send”
  6. Lastly, choose a transfer method on one of the devices and follow the on-screen prompts to complete the process
