new law in our state, no holding the phone while driving.
My wife has a RAZR and uses the hands-free speakerphone and it SUCKS. when I am talking to her on my landline, it is completely silent and I can't hear anything, including if she starts talking. It is like tlaking to a wall. Too quiet. And then I can only hear her if I am completely quiet - even if I shift papers on my desk or something like that, it will cut her off. I think it is the noise reduction thing or something, but it makes talking to her a nightmare.I basically have to spit out quick sentences, then remain still and quiet and wait to see if she responds. if I sniff while she is talking, I have to ask her to repeat her last sentence.
Besides switching to a headset or whatever, is there a way to turn off noise reduction or fix this? Is this common issue for all speaker phones? Does anyone know what I am talking about?
thanks
