C155--Where's the Sound Settings?

Motorola C155--Where are the sound settings! That phone dings, chimes, beeps with every move you make on it! I can't find any sound settings in the menu. I've read the manual thoroughly and find nothing about it. Help!?

I did a google search and read your online manual:
Motorola C155 user manual - English_Manual PDF 1,352K
I found several references to customize.
Read it and search (ctrl F) for these key words:
Ring Style;
My Tunes Menue;
Settings > Other Settings> personalize.

Actually it is an old phone that Mom got from my brother a couple years ago. I did use the search feature within the manual and all it found was ring styles which only lets you choose ringtone and volume and whether to have vibrate or tone for alerts. I was hoping to turn off the sounds for when the phone is charging--it constantly bleeps on and off during that process (she always leaves the phone on while charging, she doesn't understand it will charge when it's off!). I think I'm just going to buy her a new phone.

OK my phone makes that noise when the charger connects/disconnects,
and sometimes with a weak charger. now I understand.
my phone I can then turn the ringer off, but forget to turn it back on...
so I dont usually.
Also, I never turn my phone off, except in flight.
Holla back for info on the new phone LOL!
