    Ok so i just switched from Nextel to T-mobile, because they seem to have a better text messaging package. Also because nextel text sucks and takes a little while before you recieve your messages. Now i switched thinking that T-mobile wouldn't have any issues with texting. Now here is my problem.

    I called customer support, and they were very nice, but really didn't seem to help me. I am unable to recieve SOME messages, sometimes they will come through, sometimes they wont. The person that i am texting usually gets my messages but not always. And i absolutly never get any messages from anyone that has nextel, and this is a big issue because alot of my friends have nextel. Now the C. S. rep said that they have aggrements with all the main companys including nextel, and there shouldn't be an issue. And i know its not their (nextel customers) phone because one of my friends that has t-mobile isn't having any issues recieving their messages from any carrier. Now the C.S. rep recommended that i restart my phone, to refresh the signal. Now this worked temp. and i got about 15 messages from last night that never came through, still though none of these were from Nextel customers, and she (the nextel customer) said that she had sent me four. Someone please help. I am still w/ in my 14 return policy and will switch get out of t-mobile in a heart beat if this isn't resolved. Someone please help me out!!! thanks much

    yes, i have been gone all the way up the ladder i have even had a trouble shooting ticket made for me, i am awaiting a call back from way up high... does any one else seem to the this issue, (not being able to recieve texts from nextel customers)

    Ok, in this rare instance, I would suggest replacing your sim card with a new one.

    A sim card is RARELY the problem. However, with what your describing it makes sense to at least replace the sim card. They are sold for $19.99 at T-Mobile retail stores, however, I would suggest calling a store ahead of time and explaining that you are looking for a new sim card due to the trouble your having. After you explain what is happening, ask to see if they will replace your sim card for free. If you are unsuccesful, PM me and I'll try to mail a blank one out to you, when you receive it just call customer care to activate it.

    Yes, I think I've dealt with this problem at least once and replacing the sim card seems to have helped. Let us know if you're able to get a new sim and if the problem gets fixed that way.

    i have no idea what to do either

    Chirp, more expensive phones, and higher rates does not mean better service. All you had to do is get unlimited mobile to mobile and you'd be getting the same exact thing at T-Mobile than what you are getting now at Nextel for the price of an arm, leg, and eyeball.

    see you are wrong there i had mobile to mobile, unlimite text the works pretty much.
    i problem with t-mobile was that i could bearley get service in my own house. and i live in town.
    i had to switch to next tell so that i could get call where ever i go.
