Heard this was on the block for sale now. Our company has over 100 devices

You're welcome to post a link or source for the rumor, but at the WAVE
conference last February their CFO said they had at least 5-year commitment
to Mobitex.

Mobitex network, RIM executives recently confirmed to RCR Wireless News that
the company plans to build additional Mobitex devices for Cingular."

Gee, by the impression I got from Cingular, they could care less whether
Mobitex even existed.
Can someone please tell them that they have Mobitex in Caro, Michigan? They
refused to sell it to me because say there is only "coverage" and not
"service", whatever the heck that means.

woodbridge, nj. apparently they were told of the sale, ordered to do a
physical inventory, told there would be a hiring freeze, etc. i prefer not
to name him but i do trust him.....
