That takes an eternity to load up when you switch the power on!? The
'Nokia' logo hanga on the screen for a good while until eventually I'm
    prompted to enter my pin!

    Cheers

Don't worry Chris, it's mine too. Don't forget that Symbian 7.0s our phone
uses is a micro-OS in all effects! "Booting" takes much time. Actually I
kinda love this waiting, don't know why... ;-)

Ok cool, just making sure mine wasn't 'dodgy' )

Now I just gotta get my head around the transferring of files i.e. apps and
games etc. - I detest Nokia Data Suite with a passion and it looks like its
the only thing available to do all that sort of stuff (

Try FExplorer 1.10. It's free and can access/work on all the folders of the
phone. Just think twice before you delete any folder cause then your phone
    might need service.

Yeap - me too - especially when i dont have a MMC reader - the transferring
of 30MB files to a MMC via the 9210+serial cable takes AGES!!! yawn!!

Re: Is it just my 6600...?

i was using FExplorer 1.08 on my 7650, and I can insert my pic as operator
    logo.
however, it's not working on 6600. Wonder if I can resume the operator logo
function if I run FExplorer v1.1 on 6600?
