3390 back removal to install new battery??

Trying to get the back of my nokia 3390. The book says to push the button
down and slide forward but can't seem to get it. Any ideas? thanks,Gary

Try harder! Use your thumb on the top ridge of the back cover to push up.

You have to push pretty hard on the button. And try shifting
the cover slightly *upward* as you push the button, before
sliding it down and off. I think that helps take the tension off
the latch under the button.
