Am I blind as I have over 400 text messages in my Inbox but I do not see an
option to delete them all in one go. Do I really have to open each, one by
one and delete one by one?

No you dont ;-))))
Just open your inbox go to options => Mark/Unmark => Mark all,
Then pres C or options => delete, on prompt klick yes and that is.

Brilliant. I understood your English perfectly. Does it say this in the
manual as I am sure I had a look but couldn't find anything. I think I only
glanced through rather than read it.
