All,
I am looking for a cell phone that will allow me to create MP3 ring-
tones on my pc and then let me upload them to my phone. I thought the
Motorola V710 was the answer but after I purchased it I found that
Verizon has disabled all of the features I would need to accomplish my
goal. Sort of like buying a new car only to find out that the power
steering, power windows, and other features of the car have been
disabled by the dealer.
So I am willing to switch carriers if need be. I just need to know
which phone/carrier combination will work best for what I want to do.
I would prefer a flip phone.
Thanks,
Dennis

Look for the ALLTEL label, now that VZW will let you put an
outside phone on their system.....well, soon....maybe. Alltel
V710 does, V60 does, E815 does but all of them have data link
bugs in them. My new MotoROKR Z6M does.
Alltel doesn't screw around like Verizon does....

Isn't it ironic that the same ISPs that are telling you
you're downloads threaten their networks......
.....are testing 100Gbps TV to sell on the SAME systems?
