I bought my first phone, unlocked Moto V3, that I want to use internationally. It was originally sold as a Cingular branded phone. I put a SIM in it that came from a friend's phone in China. It works fine with the generic SIM but it still has the Cingular Mall with lots of stuff that is Cingular service specific and I will never need all these baubles. Is there a generic menu that I can use? Must I flash the firmware or uninstall the Mall? Yes, I could just continue to use this Cingular menu but if it is easy to change to something generic, such as the simple menu that shows on the phone it was in before, I want to give it a try.
