I’ve had voice recognition software forever, I was an early adopter back in the days when it required like two days of training to get the computer to recognize a single sentence. Anyway, my day is finally here, I bought the new version of Dragon Naturally Speaking and, as promised, it is way better than the old versions, better enough that I’m actually dictating via Bluetooth from the park right now, my laptop is sitting on a bench about 10 feet away with my girlfriend. Pretty cool, no?

It works great. Even if you've never been frustrated by poor attempts at voice recognition I bet you'd be impressed with Dragon. It does what I've always wanted voice recognition to do: makes a document faster than I can typed. It doesn't get EVERY word, but I'd say it's 98% accurate and the time it takes to fix the words it misses is less than the time lost to typos if you were typing. I just dictated this whole paragraph, no deletions.

When I saw this title, I thought you going say that you got a cell phone with Internet access and you hook up your laptop to your cell phone and you are now browsing on the Internet on your laptop wireless.
