    i'm considering getting the vu or xenon. I have some java apps (games, etc) on my sony ericsson. will they run on either of those lg phones?

    I don't think so. The issue is a compatibility difference between the Sony Ericsson Java Platforms and the Java used by LG. It's worth a try though.
