Motorola V500

I ordered a Motorola V500 from onestopphoneshop last week but apparently they still havent got any in stock - does anybody know if its actually out yet, or is it out and just in short supply (in the UK)?

I ordered a V500 last Thursday, over the internet, and received it on Saturday 14 Feb.

I ordered it from mPhone as an upgrade to an existing Orange contract but I am sure that made no difference. The only problem I have now is to get it unlocked but it seems no one is able to do this at the moment.

Yeah, you're right. You can only get the phone at the moment on contract or as an upgrade on Orange. I know because I'm currently on the Virgin OVP tariff and rang up today. They quoted me £170 which granted is slightly higher than the supposed PAYG release price, but they guarantee delivery by Monday or Tuesday next week if you order today. So if you're really desperate for this phone and already have an Orange phone on contract I'd recommend doing it this way.
