To Set Up Your Personal Email

1. From the Start screen, swipe left.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Then tap email + accounts.
4. Tap add account.
5. Select the account that you want to add.
6. In the Email address field enter your email address.
7. In the Password field enter your password.
8. Tap sign in.
9. You email account has been set up.

To Set up Corporate Exchange Email

1. From the Start screen, tap the Email icon.
2. Next you have to tap Outlook.
3. In the Email address field, enter the desired email address.
4. Tap the Password field and enter your password.
5. Tap Sign in.
• At this point, you may be requested to enter the domain, so enter it and then tap Sign in again.

Note: Users with a blank domain should leave this field empty and tap sign in.

• You may see a notification screen displayed. Tap Advanced to enter any additional account information. You can also tap Try again to edit your previous settings.
• Now enter your remaining account information and tap Sign in once again.

6. In case your corporate email server is requiring a security password to be created, you will see another screen. If that is the case, tap Set – enter the password that you want to use -> re-enter it for confirmation and tap Done when finished.
7. If you’re a first time user, then you will be sent to your email inbox. Your new messages will be downloaded and displayed there.
8. You should now test to see if the setup was correct by sending an email.

If the Email Account has not been set up, you should:

1. Verify if your Lumia 920 has sufficient wireless signal.
2. If you tried to connect using Wi-Fi, turn the Wi-Fi off and connect with your carrier’s network.
3. Another useful step would be to turn Airplane mode OFF and then ON again.
4. If you’re still not able to set up the account, you should check your server settings with your email provider and try again later.

To Delete an Email Account

1. From the Start screen, go to Apps.
2. Tap Settings.
3. Tap Email + accounts.
4. Touch and hold the email account that you want to delete and tap Delete.
5. You will see a confirmation message asking you if you’re sure you want to delete the account.
6. Tap Delete again.

To Send Emails

1. From the Start screen, go to the desired email account Tile.
2. To create a new email, tap the plus sign icon located at the bottom left side of the screen.
3. You should now enter the email address in the recipient field.
4. Enter the desired subject.
5. In the message field, create your message.
6. Tap the envelope icon to Send the email when you’re done.

To Add an Email Signature

1. From the Start screen, tap the Mail icon.
2. Tap the More icon located at the bottom right corner of the screen.
3. Select Settings.
4. Switch the Signature slider to ON.
5. Now tap the Signature field and delete the default signature and enter your personalized message.
6. When you’re finished, tap the Checked icon.

To Link Your Inboxes

If you have multiple email accounts, you can link your inboxes.

1. From the Start screen, tap the Mail icon.
2. Now tap the More icon located at the bottom right corner of the screen.
3. Tap link inboxes.
4. Select the account that you want to link.
5. Now press the Back key to see your linked inbox.
