Just got a 6230, and I must say after a hassle-free Ericsson T630, the Nokia
is a pain to set up and use.
It doesn't talk to my iPaq 2210 via bluetooth, and it's even got dust under
the screen after only a weeks' use (yes I know the front comes off and can
be cleaned, but these expensive things should fit together better)
Anyway, I sent the O2 MMS settings to the phone via Nokia website, and now I
can't delete them. I can see all the bearer settings, but when I chose 'edit
active settings' the menu opens but there is no option to modify or delete.
I tried the 'restore factory settings' option, but it doesn't delete
settings, and there is no option in the PC Suite to delete settings either.
Please help.......its getting on my NERVES.
Martyn.

Can't help with the MMS settings as I'm still waiting for mine to arrive but
the inability to communicate with the 2210 is well documented and is due to
the changes in Bluetooth authentication implemented by Nokia for security
reasons which will only be fixed if Nokia or HP release a software update

Re: 6230 mms settings
Alan, let me know if you discover how to get rid of the curs'ed settings.
I am aware of the resons behind the non-comms of certain iPaqs and new
Nokia's, but it is still a sorry situation, and I know there are many
unhappy iPaq owners out there who have 'upgraded' (?) their phones to find
that bluetooth does not work the way it should, even after all these years.
